A piece of jewellery is often one of the most personal and intimate objects we own. Rings or pendants entwined with family history, emotion and spirit. Sometimes these objects and their stories are tucked away in a jewellery box, unworn or perhaps broken - but always waiting for a new chapter to begin.

After a consultation at the studio or online we will carefully examine your jewellery to assess the purity of the metal and the integrity of the gemstones.

While diamonds, sapphires, and rubies are often excellent candidates for resetting, more delicate stones like opals or pearls may not be suitable for the remodelling process.

Then the creative collaboration begins. Combining your story and my artistic practice we will create 3–4 hand-drawn concept sketches. Together, we’ll refine these until we find the design that speaks to you.

Finally I will melt down your original gold into it's new form. Your gemstones are cleaned and meticulously reset into their new home.

This is a careful and slow traditional process that ensures your own gold is physically part of the new creation.
